This local surf guesthouse offers a unique opportunity for an affordable budget to experience the local lifestyle of Thinarafushi Island whilst surfing some remote uncrowded fun intermediate waves.
Thinarafushi is located in Thaa Atoll, one of the atolls that comprises Central Atolls of Maldives.
You need to catch a domestic flight from Male to arrive to Thaa atoll.
It also offers diving, snorkeling, SUP and kayak activities. Activities for everyone, whether you surf or you do not.
As well as two daily surf transfers to the waves in the area.

Surfing
At Mikado Surf Guesthouse we offer a special package for guests who are keen surfers, with 2 daily surf transfers to the waves in the area, with a speedboat and a local surf guide.
One session in the morning, one in the afternoon. The waves accessible in the area within this package are Finnimas, Inside Mikado, Outside Mikado (Farms) and Adonis.
There is the possiblity of surfing other waves in the atoll at an extra charge, as they are further away.
Watersports Center & Dive Center
The guesthouse also runs a Watersports Center, with activities such as SUP, kayak, kitesurf, wakeboarding, etc.
You can borrow snorkelling equipment from the Watersports Center at any point during your stay, so you can explore the house reef and other areas of the lagoon at your leisure.
At the Dive Center you can rent the equipment and they will take you diving to unique spots in the area.
Activities available for non-surfers and surfers.
Excursions & Activities
Other activities are big game fishing, night fishing, sandbank trip, dolphin cruise, island hopping, visiting beautiful remote uninhabited islands.
Local Island
Thimarafushi is a traditional local island that has an airport and a local village. As you may know, in local islands in Maldives you must respect the traditional customs, so no alcohol is avalaible, and we must sunbake in the Bikini Beach.

Single occupancy: from 78 USD / night, including breakfast.
Double occupancy: from 88 USD / night, including breakfast.
